KDE 4.3 released, and on the same day, the Arch Linux repos have been updated! Amazing 
Downloading it right now...will review the new features soon after.
Something that also came as a surprise to me was how the packages are now. They are now modular! What happened to "keeping it pure" and the same as upstream? Oh well, I'm not complaining 
KDE 4.2 called "The Answer" has been released! Congrats to everyone that helped make this released a reality. And thanks to the Arch developers for making the packages so quickly!
KDE is the K Desktop Environment, a popular choice with many Linux users. KDE is sometimes depicted as "Windows like" because it has a panel at the bottom of the screen.
